What is the Running Guide?

So we’ve put together the Running Guide. Your very own guide, your own readily available coach and mentor.

The guide consists of a pack of A6 colour cards in seven sections. Each section contains a number of cards around the same theme, for example Removing Blockages.

The over all aim is to create a prompting guide that will enable you to develop and implement a supportive and caring leadership style combined with an ability to get results for your people and your customers.

When can I use the Running Guide?

The guide is themed around a workout. Each of the pages contains suggestions on how you can make the approach come to life or ‘do the workout’. So as well as reading about a different approach, the idea is that you give it a go!

Not everything will appeal to your leadership style. That’s fine, choose what works for you but don’t be afraid to experiment.

Some managers have said they will use a new one each day others will choose those most relevant to their team’s situation.
