What is it?

The Ten-in-One kit has been designed with these exact needs in mind. Ten motivational tasks enable you to facilitate your own assessment sessions without hours of preparation.

Using experiential learning, the tasks identify participants’ approach and responses to the challenges, help them to develop their problem solving strategies and encourage them to think creatively. Time deadlines are set for each task to also encourage time management.

Some of these tasks may be delivered indoors whilst others are suited to outdoor learning. They are fun and engaging, but most importantly, all assess teamwork & leadership skills and generate real learning and awareness for those involved.

The unique aspect of this kit is the ability to bespoke each task to the needs of the group. Each task can be adapted to suit the requirements of the participants so that all levels of abilities and competencies are accommodated.

What is included?

The kit contains the following items to help you maximise its potential:

  • Ten Team Assessment Tasks – clear, concise briefs with illustrations are provided for each task along with accompanying guides for the facilitator.
  • General Facilitation Notes - hints and tips for the facilitator – considerations and observations before, during and after the session.
  • Competency Indicator Grid - each activity targets its own set of competencies and this grid gives a clear run-down of competencies for each one.
  • Competence Ratings – a ratings scale evaluates the competencies demonstrated during the tasks enabling you to reach an overall rating for each participant.
  • Competence Evaluation Form – enables you to identify the positive and negative indicators of various behaviours involved in key areas such as decision making, group dynamics and communication.
  • Facilitator Evaluation Form - use this to facilitate a session debrief. Find out observations from the group and help them to relate their learning back into the workplace.
