As a training company, we have long recognised the importance of cost effective training for clients. In the continuing economic climate, value for money still remains a high priority and we are ever mindful of this.
Our response to this has been to adapt a number of our training courses so that they can be delivered via webinar format. These live seminars cover a range of key training topics, generic to any industry. The webinars are transmitted via the internet and offer a real cost-effective alternative to traditional classroom based learning. Clients are able to access the webinars without leaving their office, ensuring that periods away from their job are kept to an absolute minimum. What's more, with the training brought right to their desks, any associated costs for travel and overnight accommodation normally associated with training are instantly removed.
For best results, participants can use a headset with a microphone to verbally communicate with the facilitator. But even without a microphone, they can still interact via the live chat box. Login details are sent out in advance by email and participants log in at the appointed time to join the session. In the same way as a classroom workshop, the training is live and interactive as participants can see and hear the facilitator. Questions are welcomed and encouraged, enabling individuals to interact with both the facilitator and each other via online chat.
We have been using webinars to deliver training to our clients for quite a while now, especially to our clients based overseas. Feedback remarks on the high level of interactivity, a user friendly system, and the convenience of not having to make travel and accommodation arrangements. Most importantly, the reduction in cost is now making webinars the favoured format for more and more clients.
